Sasaram city The land of sasaram (sahasaram) has been the ultimate pilgrimage spot for Hindus for ages. Often referred to as sahasaram,sasaram is the oldest living city. The Sasaram city is antique and is understood to derive its name from Sahastrabahu, an ancient king and Parsuram, the warrior sage.
